Exciting Opportunity for Nurse Manager in Southern California Healthcare Organization

Career Match Pro is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Level III NICU in a recognized medical center in Southern California. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care and lead a dynamic team in a Southern California healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the delivery of nursing services and ensure safe patient care that meets or exceeds quality and clinical standards.
  • Establish and maintain patient care and service standards, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Develop strategic plans for integrated services across the continuum of care.
  • Implement systems for continuous improvement of clinical practices and operations.
  • Manage departmental budgets, identify cost-saving strategies, and improve the quality of care.
  • Determine the appropriate staff mix, hire, train, and develop staff.
  • Develop and monitor departmental policies and procedures.
  • Resolve human resource and risk management issues.
  • Promote a culture of safety, ensuring adherence to standards and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Minimum five (5) years of clinical nursing experience, including three (3) years of management/supervisory experience.
  • BSN and National Health/Nursing Administration Certification or MSN required for PICU and NICU Departments in CCS certified facilities.
