Accurate Document Management Key to Success

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the role of Final Documents Specialist at CrossCountry Mortgage. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail, ensuring that all trailing loan documents are accurate and complete.   • The specialist will be responsible for identifying and addressing any discrepancies in documents.
  • Pending documents will require regular follow-up by phone or email.
  • Our database system will be used to track and record outstanding documents.
  • A systematic approach will be necessary to manage the working pipeline of loans.
  • Regular monitoring of reports will be needed to identify issues with outstanding documents.
  • Documents will need to be filed and retrieved as necessary and shipped to their destination.
  • An audit of documents received will be conducted to capture required data elements and comments in our LOS system.

Key Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent is the minimum educational requirement.
  • One year of residential mortgage experience is desirable.
  • Detailed knowledge of Ellie Mae Encompass 360 is necessary.
  • Mortgage Loan documents and Title work experience would be advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational skills are a must.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is expected.
