Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with food preparation and sanitation standards in a safe environment.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines established by residents' healthcare providers.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the Director of Dietary Services.

Essential Functions:
- Communicate effectively with residents and team members in English.
- Read and write in English proficiently.
- Lift up to 30 pounds without assistance.
- Visually monitor residents and respond to their verbal needs.
- Perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and stretching to assist residents.
- Stand for extended periods and operate kitchen equipment safely.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies, including resident health crises and evacuations.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Two years of experience in the food service sector is advantageous.
- Must pass annual Tuberculosis (TB) testing and health assessments.
- Knowledge of sanitary food preparation standards is essential.
- Background checks and references are required.

Work Environment:
- Well-lit and climate-controlled setting, with potential exposure to residents with communicable diseases.
- Occasional outdoor work during resident events.
- Use of protective equipment when handling chemicals or cleaning materials.
- Competence in operating food preparation equipment is necessary.
