Job Description

At Innovation At Work, we are seeking a highly skilled Work Order Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for receiving and processing maintenance requests, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process incoming calls and emails, prioritizing and assigning tasks as needed.
  • Submit work orders into our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Communicate with maintenance personnel to assign and dispatch work orders, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
  • Provide updates to requestors on the status of their service requests, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Conduct routine reviews of completed work orders to ensure accuracy and completeness, identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in telephone operating experience, with a minimum of one year working on a helpdesk.
  • Proficient in using office software, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and stressful conditions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to meet and deal with people from diverse backgrounds.
