Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transitional Kindergarten Afterschool Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our Afterschool Program, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for our TK students. You will design and implement developmentally appropriate classes, supervise children, and work collaboratively with our Site Coordinator to ensure the success of our program.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement weekly classes that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our TK students.
  • Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Establish and maintain a well-organized and clean classroom environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure a smooth and successful program.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in childcare or a related field, with a focus on Transitional Kindergarten.
  • 48+ college credits in Education or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
What We Offer
