Position Overview:


The Production Equipment Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for enhancing production efficiency by ensuring peak equipment functionality through systematic maintenance and prompt resolution of equipment issues to minimize unexpected downtimes.

This role involves leading the maintenance team by providing direction, mentorship, and training resources to promote professional development. The supervisor will establish a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance program and oversee the maintenance order management system. Building strong relationships with equipment suppliers and anticipating equipment requirements to maintain an adequate inventory of parts is essential.
This position reports directly to the Engineering General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the maintenance team, spare parts inventory, and machinery.
Guide and mentor the maintenance personnel.
Ensure adherence to all relevant local, state, federal, and company regulations and policies.
Collaborate with the Plant Manager and Engineering General Manager to:
Meet customer delivery timelines.
Develop operational schedules and synchronize maintenance with production activities to align with manufacturing timelines.
Engage with quality assurance and production teams to address production requirements.
Prepare and present weekly/monthly performance reports as necessary.

Monitor production equipment performance to guarantee compliance with safety protocols and adherence to all applicable regulations.

Manage the processes related to employee recruitment, training, performance assessment, documentation, compensation, and termination.
Foster a positive and proactive workplace culture.
Effectively address employee-related concerns.

Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 10 years in manufacturing operations.
At least 5 years in a leadership role.
Bachelor's degree is preferred.
A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
Strong project management capabilities.
Demonstrated success in training staff on productivity and safety measures.
Familiarity with OSHA and EPA regulations is advantageous.
Ability to mentor and coach employees both individually and in groups.
Exemplary leadership by example.
This is a continuous operation facility.
