At Pactiv Evergreen - North America, we are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment, maintaining a safe working environment, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Supervise and direct mechanical maintenance employees, providing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Coordinate with production to prepare maintenance outages, daily work schedules, and preventative maintenance activities, ensuring proper manning to execute all tasks.
- Drive continuous improvement through reliability efforts and root cause failure analysis, collaborating with operations and maintenance manager to adhere to budget.
- Manage timekeeping, vacation scheduling, and other activities as needed.
- Supervisory and maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Preferred experience with maintenance of thermoforming equipment, electrical troubleshooting, and industrial automation equipment.
- Strong understanding of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and Quality Assurance (QA) and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards.
- Ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, cost, and employee relations.
- Competitive salary: $51.92/hour
