Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at Navmar Applied Sciences. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and cultivating new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, customers, and funding streams, with a primary emphasis on U.S. Government (USG) Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and associated services and products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, customers, and funding streams
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential new customers and identify their requirements that Navmar Applied Sciences can satisfy
  • Monitor sales progress and communicate sales schedules with the Navmar Applied Sciences Director of Business Development
  • Continually monitor open federal contract opportunities to rapidly identify, research, and evaluate US and Foreign Military Sales UAS offerings
  • Work on proposal teams to generate content for corporate responses to Sources Sought, Requests for Information, and Requests for Proposals
  • Build MS PowerPoint presentations for meetings with current and potential customers regarding Navmar Applied Sciences UAS products and services
  • Assist the Navmar Applied Sciences Marketing Department in creating print and website content/marketing material for UAS products and services

Requirements:

  • BS/BA in a related technical field (preferred) plus eight years or more related experience
  • Related technical or military experience may be considered in lieu of education
  • Transitioning Military Officer/GS preferred
  • Prior assignment to, or experience working with NAVAIR/NAWC/PMA organizations desired
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
