Guest Service Agent

At TownePlace Suites by Marriott, we are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Agent to join our team. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
  • Check guests in and out efficiently, handling all necessary paperwork and ensuring accurate billing.
  • Process guest payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain a high level of cash handling accuracy.
  • Handle guest mail and messages, as well as respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of hotel staff, room locations, room rates, amenities, and selling strategies to effectively promote our hotel and services.
  • Answer switchboard calls, block rooms, and handle special requests in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Monitor room availability and ensure that all guest rooms are clean and well-maintained.
  • Handle safe deposits, maintain a clean and organized lobby and desk area, and adhere to all hotel safety and security procedures.
  • Assist with laundry, cleaning, and other tasks as needed to maintain a high level of hotel cleanliness and organization.
  • Perform cash drops, balance credit cards, cash, and change funds, and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management, and maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
