Radar Systems Engineer II

We are seeking a talented Systems Engineer II to join our team at Raytheon, where you will play a critical role in the execution of integration and analysis activities for our SPY-6 Family of Radars and the GhostEye family of radars.
Key Responsibilities- Develop concepts of operations for radar systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Design and develop radar processing algorithms, leveraging expertise in signal processing techniques in complex propagation environments.
- Collaborate with Systems and Software Engineers to develop and implement solutions, driving innovation and excellence in radar system design.
- Present findings and solutions to Leadership and/or Customers, effectively communicating technical information and results.
- Contribute to the development of radar software requirements, ensuring alignment with customer needs and system performance goals.
- Perform statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data, identifying areas for improvement and optimizing system performance.
- Develop analysis tools to support problem identification and resolution, driving efficiency and effectiveness in radar system development.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years of prior relevant experience, or 6 years of relevant experience in absence of a degree.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance, with U.S. citizenship required for eligibility.
- Active and in-scope Secret US security clearance.
- Experience with design, development, and analysis of radar system and software architectures.
- Expertise in signal processing techniques in complex propagation environments.
- Design experience in radar system areas, including antenna, receiver/exciter, waveforms, digital beamforming, multi-sensor track management and data fusion, adaptive signal processing, clutter mitigation techniques, electronic attack and electronic protect, sensor resource management and mission planning.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Requirements development experience, including use of DOORS.
- Experience with MATLAB/Python/C++.
- Experience with technical writing and oral presentations.
- Masters/PhD in a STEM field.
