About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Radar Sensors Software Engineer to join our team at CAE. As a Radar Sensors Software Engineer, you will be responsible for producing algorithms for 6th generation aircraft radar models, managing software requirements for radar models, and understanding C++ and object-oriented analysis and design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing algorithms for 6th generation aircraft radar models
  • Managing software requirements for radar models
  • Understanding C++ and object-oriented analysis and design

Requirements:

  • DoD Secret Clearance is required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
  • 5-8 years software development experience with DoD contract work
  • Candidate should be a fast learner with very strong analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to carry tasks through to completion with only general technical direction
  • Atlassian Jira or IBM Rational ClearQuest experience
  • Good communications skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong C/C++ skills with strong math skills
