Key Responsibilities:
Work Schedule:

Schedules may vary based on the position and location, typically including shifts from Monday to Friday, between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, or Sunday to Saturday, from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Shifts generally consist of 8.5 or 11-hour durations, including an unpaid lunch break.


Core Duties:
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Conducting routine diagnostic radiological procedures/services as required.
  • Ensuring adherence to radiation safety protocols as per departmental guidelines.
  • Sending appropriate image series to radiologists for evaluation following established protocols.
  • Positioning patients accurately for examinations and making necessary technical adjustments.
  • Processing digital images for interpretation by radiologists.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of procedures in accordance with policy.
  • Performing system calibrations and quality control tasks as directed.
  • Reporting equipment malfunctions and initiating repair procedures as necessary.
  • Observing and reporting any patient symptoms that may require immediate attention.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Certificate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year of experience as a Mammography Technologist within the last two years.
  • Certification: Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Mammography.
  • Life Support Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
  • Security Clearance: Ability to pass a government background check and obtain security clearance.

Compensation:
Hourly pay ranges from $50.00 to $67.00, determined by qualifications, experience, and location.
