About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist - Medical Support Specialist to join our team at Concentra Career Choice. As a key member of our medical team, you will be responsible for performing routine x-ray examinations and providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, including escorting them to dressing and x-ray rooms, providing verbal and written instructions, and assisting with positioning body parts for radiography.
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the examination.
  • Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to ensure the safety of patients and team members.
  • Ensure radiologic equipment remains in working order, reporting any malfunctions to the Center Operations Director.
  • Follow all radiology workflows and ensure accurate documentation of patient x-ray visits.
  • Maintain x-ray equipment, including calibration, QA/QC procedures, and record keeping, in accordance with current policy and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology and applicable certification by the state in which employed.
  • Registered with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and has active and valid certification.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification.
  • At least six months or more of medical assistant experience with knowledge of medical procedures and medical terminology.
  • Working knowledge of occupational medicine requirements (state specific) is preferred.
