About the Role:

As a Consumer Loan Servicing Specialist at Mountain America Credit Union, you will play a vital role in assisting members with questions, modifications, and adjustments involving booked (post-origination) consumer loan products. These can include (but are not limited to) auto/RV, Visa, signature, student, and home equity loans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to members, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with loan modifications, adjustments, and other post-origination activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and credit union policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including loan operations, credit, and collections, to ensure seamless loan servicing and member satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes, industry developments, and credit union policies to provide accurate and informed guidance to members.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of processes and procedures to improve loan servicing efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in consumer loan servicing, banking, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of consumer loan products, regulations, and industry best practices.
