Responsibilities and QualificationsWe are in search of a Charge Nurse for our Cath Lab. In this leadership role, you will provide clinical guidance to ensure that all patients receive exceptional and efficient care. Our team is dedicated to supporting one another, and we are looking for someone who shares our commitment to meaningful patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within your unit.
- Educate patients and their families on medication and treatment protocols.
- Maintain and update patient records, including test results and examinations.
- Administer medications as per physician directives.
- Lead your nursing team effectively during your assigned shifts.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure, with active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire if holding a compact license.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
- ACLS certification required for specific units.
- PALS or ENPC certification required within 6 months for designated units.
- NRP certification required within 6 months for specific units.
- CPI certification required within 3 months for certain units.
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in an acute care environment preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, excellent service skills, and effective communication abilities are essential.
