Medical Care Specialist

As a Medical Assistant at Providence, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and advanced-level providers, to ensure seamless patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with exams and procedures, administering medications and performing tests under the supervision of a licensed medical provider.
- Provide front desk, patient registration, insurance billing, and payment collection/cashiering services.
- Support the mission and core values of Providence by demonstrating excellence, justice, and compassion in daily work and relationships.
- Graduation from a Certified Medical Assistant program.
- Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.
- Experience providing high-level customer service in a fast-paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.
- Some college coursework or training.
- 2 years of recent experience working as a Medical Assistant.
- Experience in a healthcare setting.
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience.
