Job Title: Retail Sales Associate

Join our team of fashion experts at The Talbots Inc as a Retail Sales Associate. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with our clients, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized service to customers, offering fashion advice and styling expertise to meet their needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their preferences and tailoring your approach to meet their individual needs.
  • Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products, and by creating a positive and engaging shopping experience.
  • Work collaboratively with the management team to achieve sales and service metrics, and to build a positive and inclusive store culture.
  • Stay up-to-date on fashion trends and product knowledge, and use this expertise to create outfits and suggest items to meet customer needs.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong fashion knowledge and styling expertise, with the ability to advise customers on the latest trends and styles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move products up to 40 pounds, and to stand for extended periods of time.
