We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interim Director of Nursing to join our team at Casa Real Center in Santa Fe, NM. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services in our nursing center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct, plan, and coordinate service activities of professional nursing and auxiliary nursing personnel in rendering patient care.
  • Collaborate with the Nursing Home Administrator to develop, allocate, and control the budget for the Department of Nursing Services.
  • Complete daily rounds on the units to observe patients and determine if nursing needs are being met.
  • Review nursing progress notes to ensure they are informative and descriptive of the nursing care provided.
  • Ensure the provision of in-service training programs for nursing personnel.
Requirements:
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university with a current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
  • A minimum of five years full-time or equivalent clinical experience with at least two years' experience in nursing supervision in the long-term care setting is required.
