Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Peapod Digital Labs. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for cloud computing to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud-based services, including Azure IaaS, PaaS, and networking.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with cloud technologies, particularly Azure, and will possess excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results under pressure.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions using Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, and Networking resources.
- Maintain and optimize existing cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, availability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize infrastructure requirements, develop technical designs, and implement solutions that meet business needs.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, providing timely and effective resolutions to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in IT, with a focus on cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance.
- 3+ years of experience working with Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Networking, and Security Center.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as PowerShell, Python, and C#.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results under pressure.
- Certification in Azure Administrator or Solutions Architect.
