Job Summary

Halo Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled Wafer Fabrication Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various semiconductor wafer slicing and processing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and set up production wafer slicing and processing equipment, ensuring high-quality output and meeting productivity goals.
  • Become proficient in multiple manufacturing processes, including troubleshooting and rework, while maintaining a strong understanding of workmanship, safety, and productivity standards.
  • Perform inspections of own and others' work, and conduct simple repairs as needed.
  • Mentor junior technicians in areas of expertise and provide guidance on manufacturing documentation and quality control procedures.
  • Initiate material requests, report quality issues, and record measurements as required.
  • Perform preparation work, such as line clearance and changeover, to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Identify discrepant materials/components and maintain accurate records of point-of-use materials.
  • Follow all corporate, regulatory, safety, and production policies and procedures.
  • Maintain an excellent attendance record and be willing to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines.
Requirements
  • Minimum High school diploma or equivalent military training, technical diploma, or equivalent experience, with an Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
  • At least 1-2 years of work experience in an environment where following detailed instructions is crucial.
  • Ability to learn and acquire knowledge in the field of wafer fabrication to advance technical skillset.
  • High level of craftsmanship and attention to detail, combined with the ability to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Quality-focused with excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Able to lift 30-50 pounds on a daily basis and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment.
