Job Summary:

The Wafer Test Technician will support the engineering wafer test activities at our headquarters and at local manufacturing partners. Key responsibilities include setting up and operating wafer probers and test equipment, performing hardware and software troubleshooting, managing test hardware inventory, and supporting activities related to new test system development.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate wafer probers and test equipment
  • Perform electronic hardware and software troubleshooting and debug
  • Manage inventory and repair of test hardware
  • Perform basic modification or debug of test software
  • Assist with development and bring-up of new test hardware
  • Support other areas related to test engineering development as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in the semiconductor industry
  • High school diploma; AS or BS in Engineering or a related field is a plus
  • Hands-on experience running and maintaining wafer probers; Accretech prober knowledge is a plus
  • Experience setting up product files and wafermaps on probers
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Hands-on experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters
  • Experience with assembling cables and soldering/rework is a plus
  • Ability to read electrical schematics; experience debugging electronic hardware is a plus
