Job Summary

Tekberry is seeking a highly skilled Fabrication Manufacturing Technician to join our team in Santa Rosa, CA. As a W2 employee, you will have access to health benefits and work in a cleanroom environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating equipment and chemical tanks to etch substrates, inspecting substrates using microscope equipment, and maintaining chemicals in the assigned area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform production duties in a GaAs Wafer Fabrication lab, handling chemicals, running precision equipment, and processing GaAs wafers to comply with specifications.
  • Accuracy in process documentation and data entry is required.
  • Assist in general cleanroom housekeeping responsibilities, including some light lifting.
  • Use computer-based systems to determine workload.
  • Work in a clean room environment that requires wearing specialized work clothing and protocols.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Semiconductor processing experience is a plus, but not necessary.
  • Ability to learn quickly following verbal and written instructions regarding safety, chemical handling, and wafer processing.
  • Ability to sustain a high quality of work in a fast-paced cleanroom environment.
  • Must be flexible and able to adjust to changing goals, objectives, and policies of the company.
  • Excellent work ethics in terms of attendance, organization, and team skills.
  • Be comfortable using computers and learning new computer programs.
  • Able to stand and walk the entire shift.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and demonstrating excellent manual dexterity.
