Position Purpose and Objectives:

The Retail Banking Support Coordinator plays a crucial role in delivering informational assistance to Retail Banking Management and Sales and Service Managers concerning Retail Operations. This position also aids in the formulation, execution, and upkeep of policies and procedures relevant to Retail Banking.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Three (3) years of experience in banking, specifically in branch or operations.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert on policies and procedures for banking centers, as well as equipment, programming, and software systems related to deposit retail banking and ITM technology.
  • Assist in the rollout and testing of hardware and software updates, including cash recyclers and ITMs.
  • Respond to inquiries received via the Retail Operations Loop and collaborate with the Director of Retail Administration to enhance efficiency.
  • Support UAT testing during new implementations and during IRB and annual releases.
  • Contribute to efficiency by sharing insights gained from discussions with the Director of Retail Administration that can improve workflow.
  • Stay informed about changes to products, procedures, and policies of the bank, updating procedures as necessary.
  • Utilize bank resources, procedure manuals, and reference materials to independently address inquiries when required.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Retail Administration on multiple projects simultaneously to ensure banking centers are comfortable with new initiatives affecting the deposit side.
  • Partner with various internal resources to provide ongoing troubleshooting and resolution of issues.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of compliance requirements impacting your role and responsibilities, actively learning new regulations and assisting in their implementation if necessary.
  • Exemplify and promote behaviors that align with the Bank's values and corporate culture, fostering an environment of trust, cooperation, accountability, and dedication.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Other Requirements:

  • Travel between Republic Banking facilities is necessary.
  • Occasional out-of-town travel may be required.
  • Flexible work schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and overtime.
  • Stay updated on new developments, best practices, and statutory and regulatory changes.
