Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the execution of both in-person and virtual training sessions for GSCO volunteers.
  • Manage all elements of the volunteer training initiative, including:
    • Scheduling training sessions and securing locations.
    • Organizing logistics for in-person events and webinars.
    • Preparing training materials and kits.
    • Maintaining training records and tracking participant engagement.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance volunteer engagement through effective communication and outreach strategies.
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of volunteer trainers.
  • Gather feedback to continuously improve training content and delivery.

Essential Skills:

  • Proven organizational and planning abilities, particularly in event management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments to fulfill training needs.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with customer relationship management systems.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in training, event management, or a related field.
  • Experience in developing training programs for adult learners is preferred.
  • Bilingual skills are highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits:

This position offers a competitive hourly wage, along with mileage reimbursement for necessary travel. GSCO provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and generous paid time off.
