Petroleum Engineering Lecturer

The Hildebrand Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin is currently considering candidates for potential future roles in undergraduate petroleum engineering education. Positions may vary from part-time to full-time based on institutional needs and the breadth of the instructor's expertise. All roles are subject to student enrollment and funding availability. These positions are renewable annually, contingent upon performance and funding.
QualificationsA PhD in petroleum engineering or a closely related discipline is preferred; however, candidates with a Master's degree, relevant expertise, and significant professional experience may also be considered. Previous teaching or training experience is advantageous. Industry experience is highly valued. We seek candidates with a strong desire to teach in various areas of petroleum engineering, particularly in undergraduate capstone engineering design and oil and gas economic evaluation. Opportunities for both full-time and part-time positions exist, depending on the alignment of candidate expertise with available courses. SALARY: Determined by position and qualifications.
