Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
As an Automotive Customer Service Specialist, your duties will include:

  • Advising clients on necessary services for routine maintenance.
  • Identifying mechanical issues through customer inquiries or visual inspections.
  • Discussing inspection results with clients, recommending corrective actions, and preparing service orders for required repairs.
  • Creating repair orders that detail time, costs, and labor estimates for services.
  • Documenting the customer's concerns to assist technicians in diagnosing issues.
  • Explaining performed services and associated charges to clients.
  • Addressing and resolving customer complaints effectively.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Strong troubleshooting skills to identify operational errors and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Reading comprehension abilities to understand work-related documents.

Work Environment
This position typically requires standing for extended periods. While the role is less physically demanding than that of a technician, it can be emotionally taxing due to the high level of customer interaction.
