Quality Assurance Engineer

Position Overview:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the establishment of a cutting-edge manufacturing facility. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the quality and reliability of products in the automotive and battery sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of safety and reliability assessments prior to production.
  • Collaborate with marketing and development teams to assess RFQs, analyze testing conditions, and report findings.
  • Execute urgent testing as requested by key clients.
  • Review and validate outcomes of safety, performance, and reliability assessments.
  • Perform regular safety tests on shipments, ensuring comprehensive evaluation of manufacturing instruments.
  • Lead mass production reliability assessments.
  • Implement changes in test products as necessary.
  • Establish and maintain a real-time Battery Quality Management System (B_QMS).
  • Define testing standards and manage revisions while analyzing measurement systems.
  • Drive and coordinate certification processes.
  • Address post-assessment requirements for various certifications.
  • Manage transportation testing and generate detailed reports.
  • Oversee the maintenance and calibration of evaluation instruments.
  • Conduct job hazard analyses and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Ensure the security and safety of the quality evaluation environment.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Material, Electrical, Electronic, or Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in developing and managing quality systems.
  • Proven ability to quickly analyze and resolve issues through root cause analysis.
  • Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and adherence to quality processes.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capability to mentor technical staff confidently.
  • Willingness to support flexible work shifts.
  • Openness to travel during the initial phases of the facility's launch.
