The Production Accounting Manager plays a crucial role in supervising all financial operations for the television and production divisions. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or CPA candidate is highly desirable
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Familiarity with financial systems such as Workday
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

The Production Accounting Manager will oversee all financial aspects related to the business units, ensuring accurate balance sheet reconciliations, budget preparation, and forecasting. This role also includes managing the Staff Accountant by reviewing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statements. Key responsibilities encompass month-end closing activities, annual budget preparation, ongoing finance approval processes, and collaboration with representatives from various business units.
