This role is the embodiment of community growth, both within our stores through immersive experiences and outside through evangelism. The Community Marketing Manager will collaborate with stores to drive traffic and revenue through events and the creation of external relationships (schools, businesses). This position will support word-of-mouth marketing and direct selling programs designed to attract, grow, and maintain customers.

This role will support locations in Coastal, NC. A flexible schedule is a must, and some overnight travel will be required within the Carolinas.

ResponsibilitiesInside Our Stores
  1. Execute community-driven and monetized events in the stores.
  2. Plan 16 events per store per month.
  3. Work with stores to ensure proper scheduling of assistance and product needed for the events.
  4. Work with Local Marketing Managers to access and order necessary collateral.
  5. Promote events through Local Social Media as well as in-store.
Outside Our Stores
  1. Create local social posts to support marketing initiatives.
  2. Conduct outside selling with a focus on seasonal goals.
  3. Manage the Cart 2 Class program for targeted schools by reaching out to stores for registration and impact on Private Brand sales.
  4. Support events in the community, including activations at sponsorships and store-based outreach.
  5. Support Market Insights as needed through in-store interviews and in-home ethnographic visits.
Qualifications

Possess the knowledge and skills generally associated with a Bachelor's Degree plus 3-5 years of progressively increasing experience. A degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, or Business is preferred. Strong communication skills to work with internal and external stakeholders are required. Strong organization and project management skills are also necessary. Ability to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment is essential. Excellent MS Office skills are required.
