Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Survey Crew Chief to join our team at GPAC. As a Survey Crew Chief, you will be responsible for leading a team of surveyors in the field, gathering data for various survey types, and ensuring the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of surveyors in the field, providing guidance and oversight to ensure accurate and efficient data collection.
  • Conduct field surveys, including boundary, topographic, ALTA, wetland, and tree location surveys.
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  • Manage and maintain survey equipment, including total stations, GPS rovers, and levels.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including ALTA and USPAP.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in survey crew work or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in operating total station instruments, GPS rovers, and levels.
  • Competence in basic field calculations.
  • Leadership skills to supervise a survey crew.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required; formal survey-related training is advantageous.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
