Job Summary

The Nurse Manager will oversee clinical operations for the High Intensity Care Unit (HICU) at Levindale. This is a fast-paced and exciting opportunity in the acute care hospital area of Levindale.

The HICU is a 20-bed unit that provides care for patients who require attention for an acute brain injury, need respiratory assistance or special monitoring, or require rehabilitation. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for ensuring that safe, age-appropriate patient care is provided during hours of unit operation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing leadership and experience in a fast-paced acute care environment. They will be responsible for leading a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

The Nurse Manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and to promote a culture of safety and quality.
