We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Jax Spine & Pain Centers. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our board-certified physicians in delivering high-quality interventional pain relief solutions.

About the Role

As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing patients for interactions in the clinical setting, including reviewing charts, scheduling medical records, and generating forms for patient education and informed consent. You will also ensure that the physical care environment is therapeutic, sanitary, and well-stocked with medical supplies and functional equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for interactions by reviewing charts, schedules, and medical records
  • Generate forms for patient education, informed consent, and documentation of care
  • Ensure a therapeutic and sanitary environment with fully stocked medical supplies and functional equipment
  • Communicate with internal and external resources to procure necessary supplies and information
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School Graduate or GED required
  • One or more years of experience as a medical assistant, CMA preferred
  • Able to measure and record vital signs, manually and electronically
  • Pain management office experience is a plus
  • Basic computer knowledge required, with strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
