About the Role

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, including vital sign checks, medication administration, and mobility assistance.
  • Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control protocols and disposing of waste properly.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements

  • Current Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License
  • Completion of Medical Terminology course or successful completion of hospital Medical terminology test within 90 days of hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
