Amergis Locum Tenens is seeking a skilled Family Medicine Physician to provide medical care, treatment, and education to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment
  • Referring patients to specialists and relevant patient care components as needed
  • Directing and coordinating patient care activities of nursing and support staff
  • Participating in health promotion, education, and prevention programs
  • Maintaining quality, safety, and infection control standards
  • Developing and presenting educational programs and workshops
  • Utilizing laboratory and diagnostic services as necessary
  • Performing emergency treatment in cases of serious illness or injury
Requirements:
  • Completed full residency training in Family Practice
  • Board certification/eligibility in Family Practice
  • Current and valid licensure by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine
  • Current DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance licensure for prescriptive authority
  • Eligibility for unrestricted health center and hospital privileges
  • Current CPR Certificate

Salary: $130-$140 per hour. Amergis Locum Tenens offers a competitive compensation package.
