Job Title: Medical Care Specialist - Primary Healthcare Provider

Estimated Annual Salary: $60,000-$80,000

Join us as a Medical Care Specialist - Primary Healthcare Provider in an outpatient primary care environment where you will provide nursing and healthcare services to individuals and families. You will work under general supervision and assist with patient communications, physical exams, lab testing, and patient education.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' needs based on evaluation of current functioning and strengths, review of previous health/medical plan of care, and medications.
  • Prepare patients for examination, complete history, reviews systems, and current physical health status.
  • Takes B/P, weight, height, temperature, other measurements and/or vitals as appropriate to complete health assessment.
  • Perform vision and hearing screenings if appropriate.
  • Obtains urine, sputum specimens as appropriate.
  • Complete laboratory/radiology imaging reconciliation.
  • Administers appropriate immunizations and injections.
  • Maintains clinical logs for central area.
  • Develops a system for summarizing clinical and laboratory data for evaluation and planning purposes, and quality assurance.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Valid Massachusetts RN license.
  • Current BLS certification.
