Job Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Shingle Springs Rancheria. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to children, adolescents, and families in our outpatient setting.

Job Summary:

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health disorders in children and adolescents. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, including medication management, therapy, and education. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional patient outcomes and improve the overall well-being of our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Prescribe and manage medications as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Current licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in California
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in an outpatient setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience working with diverse populations and cultures
  • Knowledge of current therapies and treatment modalities
