Registered Nurse PRN Telemetry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse PRN Telemetry to join our team at Centerpoint Medical Center. As a PRN Telemetry Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing acute changes in patients, monitoring and analyzing heart rhythms, and intervening in emergency situations.
About this UnitOur 36-bed Cardiac Telemetry Unit provides a wide variety of monitored patients, including those with chest pain, stroke, COPD, post-operative care, and gastrointestinal issues. We offer a supportive team environment, career pathing, and elevation to more critical care roles.
Responsibilities- Provide care for patients aged 16 and over, including young adults, adults, and geriatric patients.
- Monitor and analyze heart rhythms, noting arrhythmias and intervening in emergency situations.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in cardiac telemetry.
- Current RN license from the Missouri State Board of Nursing or Multistate RN license from a participating compact state.
- BLS certification required upon hire.
- ACLS certification within 1 year of hire date.
