Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver essential bedside care to patients.
- Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment that tracks vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and respiratory rates.
- Analyze telemetry data to assess patient conditions and make informed decisions regarding care.
- Recognize abnormal telemetry readings and promptly communicate with the healthcare team.
- Take immediate action in response to critical information from monitoring devices.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of bending, leaning, and stooping as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds regularly, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds for patient mobility.
- Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Qualifications:
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience.
- Additional certifications may be necessary prior to starting an assignment.
