Job Summary

We are a locally owned and operated Specialty Vehicle Boutique seeking a skilled Golf Cart Service Technician/Driver to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our rental fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vehicle Delivery and Pickup: Safely transport and return our golf carts to customers in the Charleston area.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns customers may have.
  • Vehicle Inspection and Cleaning: Regularly inspect and clean our golf carts to ensure they are in excellent condition.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks and diagnose/troubleshoot issues with our golf carts.
  • Shop Maintenance: Assist in keeping our showroom and work bays tidy and organized.
  • Availability: Be available to work some Saturdays, 10am-2pm.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license with fewer than 3 points.
  • Driving Experience: Have experience driving a company truck and hitched trailer.
  • Self-Motivation: Be a self-starter with a strong work ethic.
  • Organizational Skills: Possess excellent organizational and cleaning skills.
  • Punctuality: Demonstrate a strong commitment to punctuality and reliability.
  • Teamwork: Enjoy working in a small group environment.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Have basic mechanical skills and be willing to learn.
