Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Lead Technician to join our team at Bridgestone Americas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex automotive issues, while also mentoring and leading a team of technicians to deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform complex repairs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and advancements through ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in automotive repair, with a strong background in diagnostics and repair.
  • A.S.E. certification in at least 5 (five) of A1-A8 (L1 can be one of the five) is required.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical individuals.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of technicians.
