Key Responsibilities

  • Implement the Supply Chain Process effectively, ensuring quality and cost objectives are met through strategic purchasing practices. (10%)
  • Assist in the execution of inventory management and investment recovery strategies, analyzing performance metrics and forecasting inventory needs. (15%)
  • Support Category Managers in managing contracts and purchase orders, including supplier performance evaluations. (25%)
  • Resolve daily operational issues related to invoices, supplier changes, and discrepancies, ensuring smooth procurement processes. (25%)
  • Facilitate the monitoring of supplier relationships and performance metrics, contributing to the development of improvement initiatives. (10%)
  • Assist in managing changes to customer requirements and material requests, ensuring alignment with procurement processes. (15%)
  • Support emergency response activities as needed.

Job Scope

  • Assist in planning and scheduling material and service requirements.
  • Engage in sourcing activities for materials and services.
  • Support the implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and quality.
  • Help maintain a qualified supplier base.
  • Facilitate communication between business units and suppliers to optimize procurement processes.
  • Assist in monitoring supply chain performance through indicators and trend analysis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, or a related field with 2-4 years of relevant experience, or a High School diploma with 3-6 years of experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software applications.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with inventory, purchasing, and accounts payable systems.
