Global Trade Compliance Manager

TE Connectivity is seeking a highly skilled Global Trade Compliance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Global Trade Services organization, you will play a critical role in supporting trade operations, compliance, and licensing activities within our Business Unit (BU) operations.
The successful candidate will serve as the licensing and compliance oversight lead within our Operational Compliance team for the BU, providing strategic and authorization compliance support to our BU operations team. You will be responsible for ensuring our compliance with import and export regulations, with a focus on license management, oversight, and support globally to enhance global trade compliance, reduce risk, and increase responsiveness to issues and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage trade operations and licensing processing and compliance for the assigned BU
- Establish and maintain trade authorization requests, drafting, submission, and ongoing authorization management, including reporting following TE policies, procedures, and controls
- Act as a point of contact for BU leadership on trade-authorization-related matters
- Engage BU stakeholders to understand business changes and develop trade-related solutions/strategies and controls to ensure compliance
- Maintain BU-level Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the operations
- Partner with Trade Compliance Professionals and Stakeholders across the Enterprise to ensure compliance with global trade laws and regulations
- Bachelor's degree in international business, supply chain, law, or related field
- 8+ years' experience in global trade compliance, with 5+ years' experience in drafting and management export authorizations under the US Bureau of Industry and Security under the US Department of Commerce, EAR regulations and US Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls ITAR regulations
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, strategic analysis and planning capabilities involving complex situations, highly developed oral and written communication skills, and the ability to coordinate interdisciplinary teams (internal and external) to drive issues and projects to conclusion

Compensation- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $122,960 – $184,440 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
