Job Summary

The Facilities Management Manager will oversee the maintenance and repair of systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, electrical and electronic, telecom, and plumbing. This role will also assist in planning, inspecting, and implementing department procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise the work activities of the Engineering staff
  • Provide leadership and consultative services to departments and services within the organization in achieving regulatory/accreditation compliance
  • Collaborate with clinicians and other staff in developing and implementing processes to comply with regulatory standards, including all standards related to Environment of Care
  • Apply principles of data management skills dealing with basic statistical processes in data analysis seeking out root causes, trends, and program effectiveness based on findings
Requirements
  • AA/AS in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience in project management in these fields preferred
  • 3-5 years managerial, planning, and systems analysis management experience with clerical organizational skill knowledge
  • Demonstrated current knowledge of and expertise complying with regulatory complex requirements of healthcare facilities
  • Ability to read and write clear, concise, and complete reports and applicable paperwork
  • Excellent computer skills using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
