Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Development: Lead the formulation and execution of innovative client acquisition strategies by leveraging marketing initiatives, sales engagement tools, social selling, and proactive prospecting methods to establish a robust pipeline of new business. Identify emerging market opportunities and trends to broaden the company's client portfolio. Provide precise forecasts regarding business closure timelines and project delivery for clients.
- Market Insight: Remain abreast of industry trends, sales methodologies, and proactively enhance sales expertise. Utilize data-driven insights to refine acquisition tactics and optimize outreach strategies. Collaborate closely with the marketing team to create and execute impactful campaigns and promotional efforts.
- Client Relationship Management: Clearly communicate TalentSmartEQ's mission and unique value proposition to prospective and existing clients. Develop and implement tailored client engagement strategies to boost satisfaction and loyalty. Utilize insights and relationships with clients to assess their needs and define desired learning outcomes.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) related to client acquisition and retention. Prepare and deliver regular updates to the executive team regarding progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
A graduate business degree (or progress towards) or a bachelor's degree with relevant experience is required.
Essential Skills:
- 5-10 years of proven consultative sales experience with corporate clients.
- Prior experience in the Learning & Development sector, Professional Services, or Training is preferred.
- A dedicated sales professional with a strong aptitude for converting marketing qualified leads, managing inbound inquiries, and executing outbound sales strategies.
- Demonstrated proficiency in identifying and pursuing new client opportunities.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships throughout the purchasing process.
- Exceptional sales prospecting and client acquisition skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities, capable of engaging with diverse levels of a prospect's organization, including senior executives.
- Proven track record of advancing large-scale account opportunities that result in revenue growth.
- Ability to quickly assimilate and analyze data from various sources, providing clients with deeper insights that enhance their readiness to engage.
- Adaptable and flexible in response to client and organizational needs.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
- Proficient in a Windows PC environment, Microsoft applications, and CRM data management.
- Familiarity with sales engagement tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% as required by business needs.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive base salary and commission structure with on-target earnings up to $250,000. Comprehensive benefits package including generous PTO, 401k plan with company match, medical insurance with employer contribution, dental and vision coverage, employer-sponsored life insurance and disability, flexible spending accounts, and paid parental leave.
