Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement evidence-based infection prevention strategies to minimize the risk of healthcare-associated infections.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify and address infection control gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide education and training to healthcare staff on infection prevention best practices and protocols.
  • Conduct surveillance and analysis of infection control data to inform program development and improvement initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest infection prevention guidelines and recommendations from reputable sources such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as nursing, public health, or a related field.
  • CBIC - Certification Board of Infection Control certification.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
