Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for detecting, reporting, and resolving matters related to safety, inventory shortage, and theft. You will also provide exceptional customer service and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct surveillance to detect and apprehend theft and other security breaches.
  • Perform routine inspections of the facility to maintain physical security and protection of assets.
  • Monitor closed-circuit television systems and enforce company standards related to security and safety procedures.
  • Participate in the training of new hire associates in matters of loss prevention and security protocols.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly store audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Identify and communicate hazards to key holders and take corrective action to prevent accidents.
  • Ensure physical security by controlling access of associates and visitors and maintaining visitor control logs.
  • Participate in the distribution's loss prevention and safety programs to ensure a safe and secure work environment.

  • Ability to handle difficult situations with diplomacy and tact.
  • Ability to perceive situations accurately and make sound judgments.
  • Ability to maintain a fair and consistent set of standards and use discretion when necessary.
  • Ability to maintain records and documentation accurately.
  • Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform all functions of the job.
  • Must have loss prevention experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
  • Must be able to work standing up or sitting down for long periods of time.
