Job Title: Indoor Farm Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Indoor Farm Technician to join our team at 80 Acres Farms. As an Indoor Farm Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and harvesting of leafy greens and herbs in our state-of-the-art vertical farm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Seed, transplant, and harvest lettuce using highly automated machinery
  • Perform basic cleaning and sanitation of work areas to ensure food safety
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Ability to operate machinery, use a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Fast-paced worker with attention to detail and quality
  • Agriculture, science, or production background a plus
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and quickly evolving processes
  • Ability to work weekends
