Job Title: Maintenance Technician II

80 Acres Farms is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team in the growing future of indoor farming. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for advanced troubleshooting of mechanical systems and sub-systems, as well as electrical troubleshooting of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime
  • Own and maintain a functional process area, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment
  • Mentor and train less experienced maintenance staff to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with the planning team to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks
  • Utilize CMMS to manage work orders, schedule PMs, and track compliance KPIs
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with all team members and stakeholders
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience, with a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems
  • Proficiency in reading schematics, utilizing volt/ohm meters, and troubleshooting control components
  • Experience with HVAC/Hydronic systems and water filtration systems a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and food safety compliance
  • Flexibility to work scheduled, unscheduled, and on-call overtime, including weekends and holidays
