Fire Protection Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection systems, hydraulic calculations, and relevant industry experience. This position involves designing, analyzing, and implementing fire protection systems to meet client requirements and industry standards.

  • Create and develop fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, and suppression systems.
  • Perform hydraulic calculations to ensure the adequacy and efficiency of fire protection systems.
  • Analyze fire protection systems to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Review and approve design documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate fire protection systems into overall building designs.
  • Conduct site visits to assess existing fire protection systems and recommend improvements or upgrades.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, clients, and contractors.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, codes, standards, and best practices in fire protection engineering.
  • Assist in preparing project proposals, cost estimates, and schedules.
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and staff.
