As a Financial Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the Financial Management Division of the United States Navy.

Eligibility

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the Navy Medicine Integrated Risk Management Program Coordinator, overseeing the execution and leadership of the Integrated Risk Management Program across the Navy Medicine framework.
  • Serve as the primary advisor on risk management, internal controls, and corrective action plans to senior management and oversight groups.
  • Collaborate with Navy leadership to ensure compliance with internal control assessments and reporting obligations.
  • Lead organizational changes affecting the Integrated Risk Management structure and implementation.
  • Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of the Integrated Risk Management Program's execution within the organization.
  • Prepare comprehensive responses to financial audits and reviews from various oversight bodies.
  • Disseminate approved financial management policies throughout the organization.
  • Develop and present briefs to senior management regarding program execution and recommendations for addressing variances or issues.
Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in federal service or comparable experience in the private sector. This experience should include:
  • Management of an Integrated Risk Management Program.
  • Development and execution of internal control testing for compliance and operational reporting.
  • Analysis of internal control data from various organizational sources.
  • Identification of discrepancies or noncompliance with established guidelines and policies.
  • Implementation of corrective actions to address identified control deficiencies.
Conditions of Employment
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Participation in the direct deposit pay program is required.
  • Must obtain and maintain a security clearance.
